Claude Code

Claude Code speaks the Anthropic Messages API. Point it at Console with two environment variables and use any model that accepts Anthropic Messages.

Replace oc_sk_... with a personal API key.

Configure

Set the variables in ~/.claude/settings.json to use Console in every session. Map the opus, sonnet, and haiku aliases to Console models so /model and background tasks use them.

Claude Code appends /v1/messages to the base URL, so leave that path off. Run /status to confirm the base URL and token are active.

Go

Use the Go base URL and a key from a workspace with a Go subscription.

Models

Claude Code can only use models that accept Anthropic Messages.

Go	Claude Haiku 5.5, Kimi K3, DeepSeek V4, MiniMax M3, and Qwen models

GPT, Gemini, and most open models are not available in Claude Code yet. Use Pi or Hermes for them in the meantime.

Non-Claude models

Claude Code sends Claude-specific request options to every model. If a non-Claude model rejects a request with a 400 error, turn off experimental betas.

Add the Console MCP server for all your projects.

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user opencode-console https://opencode.ai/console/mcp

Run /mcp in Claude Code, select opencode-console, and sign in from the browser.
