# Improved compatibility with newer MCP servers and OAuth flows

## Improvements

- **Desktop:** Added a shortcut to open the project selector in new sessions.

## Fixes

- **Core:** Reconnects MCP servers after expired SDK sessions, including concurrent requests.
- **Core:** Honors configured MCP OAuth callback ports in `mcp debug`.
- **Core:** Stops sending deprecated sampling defaults to newer Gemini models.
- **Desktop:** Tab keyboard navigation now follows the visible tab order.
- **Desktop:** Opening files now expands Windows folders with trailing separators.
- **Desktop:** Server status uses blue when an integration needs attention.
- **Desktop:** Provider connection state now refreshes immediately after changes.

- **Desktop:** Local desktop runs now use the channel database.
- **Desktop:** Prevents freezes when closing projects from the home view.
- **Desktop:** Prevents the right panel from freezing the session view while loading.
